Revision Courses 2025
See below for details of our 2025 revision courses in Economics & Business. Courses are conducted online, with strict limits on numbers. Unless otherwise indicated, course content is common to all examination boards in that subject. The course platform is Microsoft Teams, but please note that these are NOT passive revision webinars. Numbers are limited to 8 students and they are all expected to engage in active, camera-on interaction. All students will be required to respond, question and write short passages throughout each 90 minute session. Sessions are intentionally spread out over several weeks, to allow time for meaningful consolidation and practice. Prior to starting the course, students are invited to do some diagnostic testing to identify specific areas which need development.
2025 Year 13 A-Level Economics
A 5 session course, for Year 13 A-Level Economics students (all exam boards) running on Monday evenings 1900-2030 on the following dates:
13 Jan, 20 Jan, 3 Feb, 10 Feb, 17 Feb.
Session outline:
1: Micro Fundamentals: how markets work and why they fail.
2: Macro Fundamentals: national economic performance and policy.
3: Micro Advanced: market structures and labour markets.
4: Macro Advanced: International trade and development economics.
5: Synoptic (Paper 3) skills: focus on synoptic techniques and accessing higher level application marks.

2025 Year 13 IB Economics
The IB Economics course (HL/SL) is different to A Level in a number of ways and therefore is best taught separately.
With 14 years experience teaching IB Economics, and 4 years running a successful IB Programme in a leading IB World School, I am well placed to offer specific tuition in preparation for the May IB examination session.

Contact me for details on 1:1 tuition in Economics or Business A-Level and GCSE Courses. Sessions are 90 mins in duration and available as a one-off, or as part of a tailored block.
Prior to starting tuition, students must complete some preliminary diagnostic exercises to identify specific gaps in understanding / technique.
